Godsmack is an American rock band formed in 1995, known for their heavy metal and hard rock sound, with elements of alternative metal and post-grunge. The band is fronted by vocalist Sully Erna, and also features Tony Rombola and Robbie Merrill on guitar and bass respectively, and Shannon Larkin on drums. They released their debut album in 1998, and it featured hit songs such as "Whatever" and "Keep Away" which helped establish the band as a major force in the rock world. They have released several successful albums throughout their career, sold millions of copies worldwide and earned them a dedicated fanbase.
