Dead & Company is an American rock band formed in 2015, featuring former Grateful Dead members Bob Weir, Bill Kreutzmann, and Mickey Hart, along with John Mayer, Oteil Burbridge, and Jeff Chimenti. The band is a continuation of the Grateful Dead, and plays the music and songs of the Grateful Dead. Dead & Company performs the music of the Grateful Dead, which is known for its blend of rock, folk, bluegrass, blues, country, and improvisational jazz. Their live shows are known for their extended improvisational jams and the band's commitment to recreating the Grateful Dead's live concert experience. They have released several live albums and have toured extensively since their formation in 2015.
